Jessica Lum is the photo editor at Hyphen magazine. She is also an intern at a video game PR company, Michael Meyers Public Relations.
She graduated from UCLA with a degree in English and a minor in Geography/Environmental Science.
She currently lives in Sacramento, CA and still catches herself missing the windowless Daily Bruin office where she was the photo editor and a film and television writer.
Lum also worked as a photographer, writer and designer for UCLA Recreation, and at Los Angeles Metromix.com, a lifestyle and entertainment site by the Tribune Company.
She was the recipient of the California College Media 1st Place Photo Illustration in 2007 and 2nd Place News Photograph in 2008, and was the inaugural recipient of the 2008 Bridget O'Brien Scholarship Fund to cover HIV/AIDS in Thailand.
